Black Dust Full Milled AKA Viking with Diamond Dust Accents
Black CCM Clamping No Rise
WAS Equalizer Board
Clamps so it fits any hopper feed neck.
Solid, high quality.
The early version with the cut band was weak.
Requires an allen key to adjust.
When anyone on my team purchases a Viking or Excalibur, among the few essential accessories is a CCM Clamping No Rise.
With this product, no tape or sanding is required. Just plug in your hopper, grab the appropriate allen key and clamp down to your liking.
The No-Rise height creates a lower profile, potentially reducing hopper-hits. ( It was the lowest until recently. )
You can adjust it to be as tight or as loose as you wish.
The earlier batches had "CCM" cut into the clamping band, which caused the bands to eventually snap due to the forces put upon them when tightening.
This happened with three of my team mates' feed necks, but CCM provided them with uncut bands at no charge. To the best of my knowledge they have since ceased the production of the cut-through model.
And finally, it looks pretty good. Not really special, but elegant in it's simplicity.
If you want a quality medium or low clamping feed-neck, the CCM is perfect for you.
But, if you want the lowest possible feed-neck for an AKA marker, look into the Bart Parts No-Rider. It is the lowest available, lower than the CCM No-Rise.
