Products Used:
evil bolt, green pmi bolt, red pmi bolt
Marker Setup: piranha pro ts g3, 2k3 e-force frame, sp teardrop 14", 12v revvy, 47cu/3000 bulldog tank
Strengths: lightweight
Weaknesses: no groove for the ball detent, concave front to the bolt creates very sharp edges.
Review: I gave the bolt the benefit of the doubt and tried it several times. Even tried it with different paint. Always the same result... 1 shot = 1 chopped ball. Oh yeah, the sharp edges....they chop off the ball detent as well. I had to replace 5 or 6 of those after each shot. Do not buy this bolt for your fish, it does not work . Prior to buying it on ebay, I emailed a bunch of people who bought this bolt and they all had good things to say...the only problem was, they all owned autocockers. So in conclusion, this may be a good bolt for an autococker, but if you own a piranha...look somewhere else.
Conclusion: this bolt is not a good upgrade for a piranha, sharp edges kill paint and no detent groove eats up your ball detents.

I just wanted to let you know I bought 2 bolts from them for flush cocking and requested o-ring grooves on them. The bolts have detent grooves in them and a concave face with no sharp edges, I was gonna suggest you contact them about your bolt. They were extremly helpfull with mine and produced a excellent bolt, even with a request for something they havn't done yet(o-ring grooves). I'm sure they will help you out, give them a chance to fix your problem.

i would just like to say that to those looking in to this bolt this review is not at all helpful and hami is the one with the true bolt the post above is false clearly by the statement about replacing 5 or 6 ball detents after each shot. owning a pirahna i know that they come stock with 1 but can be modified to use 2 detents (like i did) and going thru 5 or 6 in one shot is impossible. this is a great style bolt and i used to use it but have since upgraded to a shocktech delrin bolt. let me say that delrin is the way to go.

I apologize for the inconsistencies in my statement regarding this item. I should have proof read my statement so that other prospective buyers would be able to read it and come away with an unbiased opinion about this product. I, in no way, meant to publish anything that would be deemed as a fallacy. WTF PANCAKE!! Everyone knows that it is impossible to destroy 5 or 6 ball detents on every shot! What I meant was that it was shaving a ball detent off every shot, so I had to replace 5 or 6 detents, until I finally gave up on the bolt. Use some common sense when reading reviews, it was a typo. You want to talk about giving false information, on 05/03/2004 you wrote a stated that you only had 6 months experience as a baller. Yet you wrote another review TWO MONTHS EARLIER on 03/12/04 in which you state that you have 1 year of experience???? So how do you go from 1 year of experience DOWN to 6 months of experience, when you should have gained an additional 2 months of experience??? Things that make you go HMMMM???
