Review:
I had to wait a while for my Dark Timmy to get in, but it was well worth the wait. I've owned a few intimidators in the past and Bob Long has outdone himself once again, getting Warped involved was just icing on the cake. The milling is simply awesome and helps make the marker freakishly light. Lucky 15 barrel will run up against any Ultralite or Boomy and is ohh-so quiet. Love the trigger, even the slowest fingers will have no problem dropping pods at a record pace. My only problem was getting it to stop bouncing....of course, this problem lies in the new Bob Long Frenzy board and not with Warped....once I got it dialed in it rocked. My only complaint is the grips (which is really a complaint for all the new intimidators, not just the Dark)....they look great, but I'll be picking up the first after market grip that comes along....maybe its because I've gotten so used to my sticky 3's, but the old school "grip panels" just don't do it for me.
Conclusion:
The best from Bob Long crossed with the Warped warranty and EVERY upgrade you could ever want, you simply can't go wrong....the price is up there, but you get what you pay for....best Intimidator on the market as far as I'm concerned.
the pannels are o.k., mostly because nothing else works, the guy who let me try his says that dye lcd stickies don't fit well because of the raised lcd on the frenzy board
I agree...I've seen a few guys using Sticky 3's and then cut out a hole for the LCD....kinda getto, but it works....the LCD screen sits flush with the clamshell, so it would work, but still kind of cheezy....I'm sure someone will be out with something else in no time....
yeah, i've seen people modify stickies to their alias guns but as soon as you cut into the stickies and break the seal, they dry out and fall apart.
I think dye is coming out with stickies just for gen 2 intimidators and hybrid has something up their sleeves
I noticed on the picture you uploaded of your gun that the line feed on the regulator is near the trigger, did you turn it there for the picture or did you add a washer to the top of the regulator to hold it at that position?
