Well, it works as advertised, it replaces the stock A-5 breach with a new one, only this is threaded for autococker threads. This is a plus, since there are surprisingly few quality barrels for the A-5, or rather, not readily available. However, there are hundreds of barrels readily available for the autococker threads. Case in point, I prefer the Stiffi carbon fiber barrels, but the Switch kit, with different sizers, is only available in autococker. $20, problem solved. The best part is it installs in seconds, and changes back just as quick, so if you feel inclined to use a-5 barrels again, your golden.
The downside, I tried my Freak, and the back is just too big to fit in, I'm assume it is because of the larger outer diameter needed for the different bore sizers. Only drawback I found. However, as nothing is ever noted about this from the manufacturer, I feel that is qualifies as a major one.
These cost a little more than the lapco screw in adapters, but they add length to the barrel, and can wobble loose during the game. This is the best option for this niche market. |

| Conclusion: |
If you run a cocker and have just picked up an A-5 for whatever reason, buy this product. Why buy a whole new collection when you can use your old one. |
