It sounds like to me that the only real use for this thing is to turn a 98 into a stationary gun that you keep on the ground. I bet it would be pretty good with a bi-pod and a good hopper. But then again, ive never owned a tippman, or played woodsball so i wouldnt really know.
My friend has this on his A5 and he has never been called on owning it. I'm not really sure this product is considered illegal, I would think the manufacturer would at least inform us.

Actually anything in the state of california that fires a projectile is considered a firearm, my friend got fined for having a potatoe gun in his front yard
