Stock T1 bolt - Much louder, needs constant attention (lube) in the field and prone to ball breakage
Marker Setup: Dragun One, APM bolt, API Bulldog IV 45" 3K HPA, Trigger Switch Mod, 14" J&J Ceramic
Strengths: Lighter than stock bolt
Quieter operation
Faster cycling
Lowers operating pressure
No lube!!!
Weaknesses: I can see light around it...
Review: The stock bolt on the T1 I found quite loud and needing a load of lube to really function as well as it could, so I was very excited to get my hands on the Tigershark. I received the bolt in THREE days (not counting Sunday) instead of the five to ten days it says it will take on their website. After cleaning all the lube from my breach (stupid stocker) I slid my old bolt pin in and sprayed some paint. Aside from a batch of brittle paint that gave the stock bolt hell, this thing really rips!!! My T1 is way quieter and it seems to want to cycle faster. From what I could tell, with the stock bolt, I never found the gun starving with my 12V Revy, now you would think I have a freaking VL200 on her! She wants SOOOO much more than the Revy can give and still won't break balls with the eye.
I love it. Except now I have to invest in a force feed...I don't think the fact I can see a little light around the bolt makes much of a difference but once I get her in the field we'll see. I'll post with any updates
Conclusion: For twenty bucks, this bolt will help your T1 or TES reach the potential you know it's capable of. That is all that matters. This should be EVERYONE'S first upgrade. I give her a 10 for the value, performance and return on investment.
