A cheap price for a cheaply built dual regulated tank. I guess I got what I payed for... |

Where should I begin!!! I had the same problem of the tank leaking gas and a shoot down problem. The tank was evidently a defective piece of junk from the start, it blew a burst disc the third time they gases it up at the field. Later that week, I contacted aci who put me in touch with "The Hose Shop"(they manufacture the tank, reg, and parts) and just like one of the previous reviewers, I had to pay for an overhaul kit or to it to be overhauled..., the warranty wasn't worth the paper its printed on. I overhauled the tank with the kit I purchased, and gases it up again. It proceed to blow another disc, not to mention pressure screw started backing out by itself. I figured that I must have done something wrong. But it was later checked out by an air tech at the field who had told me the whole regulator assembly was dangerously defective, and would have to be sent back to the ACI for a complete new one... I spent enought money on the overhaul kit, so its trash bound.
I don't know how ACI tests their products or what their standards are...I could see future lawsuits when a tank blows-up and somebody gets hurt. |

I thought maybe it was just bad luck on my part, which could be, but from what I've seen from other reviews...this probably isn't the case...the bad seems to out way the good....I'll give it a 2, because there are evidently a good ones out there, but far and few...in my eyes, spend the extra money and purchase a reliable tank... |
