Review:
The Shocktech cone is made of aluminum and was designed to eliminate broken cones. I ordered mine as soon as I saw it on their site and when I got it I was impressed with it. the only real flaw that I can see with it is that they could have removed much more aluminum to keep it light. mine weighed in at 1.2 oz on the postal scale. I however did some "machining" of my own on it and I was able to remove a little over half an oz with some strategic drilling, chamfering, and grinding. I honestly think ST could have weighed in @ .5 oz if aggressively milled when produced. over all a good product. The handle is simply awesome, a major improvement over the stock rip saw blade handle
Conclusion:
If you break cones in your halo then get this cone. the handle is inexpensive and a must have for your rip drive.
