Products Used:
PMI blue and red bolts
Marker Setup: Piranha VTL
PMI Flush coking system
SP 14" All American Barrel
Strengths: Light
Fairly Accurate, especially at close ranges.
Weaknesses: Chops, but not often
Review: This came stock on my Piranha. It served me well in it's period of use. For a stock bolt it is very good. At cose range (15-20yds) I could hit very small targets with great prescision. From farther distances it still performs well. Most bolts develop curves after 40 or so yards. This only had a very small curve.I upgraded to the Blue bolt and found that to be better, though. The red bolt easily outstrippes both.
Conclusion: Don't bother buying this (blue bolt is only $15) but if your gun comes with one its a good all-around bolt. I'd only give it a 7.5 but since there are no halves it gets an 8.
8 out of 10
