Stock bolt with o-ring - blind bolt is definitely better.
Black gen 1 B2k + vapor valve, Shocktech piston, CP reg, Kapp ASA, OTB frame, CP rail AA Apocalypse.
light, tight fit
Bolt tip comes off the tip - glued, fixed
tight - need sanding
Short - must use squegee
Well, I don't have eyes and prolly will never have PDS since i'm on a budget. So this is a perfect chance for me to minimize chops, not that my gun chops a lot anyway, but for the insurance and value, i think it's a good investment.
1. Need sanding
i got the old body and it's supposedly has a tighter bore so i need to sand it down. No biggie. It's both the strength and weakness of this bolt. Strength - tight fit.
2. eliminates blowback.
I was shooting a paintball w/out a barrel and it shot out harder than the stock bolt.
3. reduce chops
I did what the video did. Hang a ball from a string and shot it multiple times and it didn't chop. It only chop when i use brittle/ cheap paint or in really cold weather where the paint shell is hard and brittle.
1. Dropped velocity because of drag from the rubber tip - mine dropped 20 fps from stock bolt
2. The rubber tip came off - put some industrial epoxy and it's ok now
3. Short - have to use squegee to pull it out
My blind bolt is broken now. The tip came off again. used Gorilla glue but it just didn't cut it and then it ripped thru the side. It was good while it last but now i think i lost some money over ths thing.
Overall value, it's a good investment and really works for me. i dunno why the guy before me said the bolt didn't work. Maybe his gun or maybe the bolt is an early product that came out of the assembly line. but it works as advertised though heard many problems with this bolt. Like i said, the tip came off, but nuthin but a liitle epoxy can't do. this works for me but with the problem that i got, ima give it an 8
It's broken now and i know how everyone's feeling about this bolt breaking, so i'll drop the review 2 points. It was good when it was functional.
6 out of 10
