Experience:

Similar
Products Used:
Ricochet AK Hopper, Ricochet Apache Hopper
Marker Setup: Spyder Imagine, psycho ballistics drop foward, 8 stage expansion chamber, Delrin ACS bolt, Terminator barrel, Ricochet Apache Hopper
Strengths: It holds more balls than any other hopper.
Weaknesses: Its likely to break quickly.
Review: I got this hopper cause it could keep up with my full auto and held way more balls than other hoppers. Right out of the box it didnt agitate unless it heard extremely loud sounds. Since its sound activated I turned the sensitivity to the lowest setting and it still barely agitated. I sent it back the next day because I need a hopper thats going to actually agitate when my gun makes sound, and i dont have a particularly quiet gun either. Maybe sound activation was a bad idea here.
Conclusion: Dont bother with this one. Get a ricochet, they are sensor activated and my Ricochets have never failed me.
Rating:
3 out of 10

I would have to assume that you got a faulty board (or perhaps just the microphone was faulty). With the sensitivity turned up all the way on mine, the mic is so sensitive that the motor turns continuously after the first shot - the first shot activated the agitator, and the sound of the balls being stirred around in the hopper was enough to keep activating it. I had to turn off the hopper to stop it turning, and then lower the sensitivity when I switched it on again.

I would agree however that these hoppers seem fragile and do have a tendency to develop faults. However, Odyssey are pretty good (if a little slow) about fixing them.

Yes i agree cause i have a very quiet autococker and my backman always agitates after every shot. So you must have gotten a faulty...so dont trash the hopper because urs was messed up.

I use the TSA on my automag and it functions perfectly. In fact, my wife owns a spyder imagine and it will cause my loader to agitate from approximately 20 feet away if I have mine set too sensitive. She is using a 16 inch barrel. You may have a faulty one but, a three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah a 3, that's what i would give mine. Ive pulled it out of the bag once and it went right back in the bag after the first 2 games i used it, for the price the ricochet is WAY better. I bit the bullet and bought a halo b after that day. Get rid of the dispute.
