Review:
Ok so I got this gun today and i thought I would test it out stock to right a review also had a evolution hoppper on it. As soon as I got it out of the box i noticed quickly that it wasn't set on it's highest speed so I cranked it up and this thing ripped. So then I filled up my egg hopper and put it on there and went and shot some. The stock barrel is pretty acurate. This gun is fast if you put it on semi auto or turbo mode, not to fast on full auto but probably around 10 bps and semi auto or turbo I was getting it to 15 bps consistently. The trigger pull I noticed is very short for a tippmann. The only thing I noticed bad was that if you put a 14 inch barrel on it your gun is very long but that doesn't bother me. When I shot through the hopper I never choped one ball and I was firring fast on this. Also this gun is very easy to fix and looks very good.
Conclusion:
I would recomend this gun for anyone who wants to step up to a higher gun but doesn't have the cash or even a started gun. You get the reliabilaty of a Tippmann but the speed of a higher end gun. So overall I think this is an excellent gun for anyone to have. I am only giving it a 9 because of length.
Awesome dude, I have been waiting for someone to review this gun just to make sure that there were no big problems with it before I buy it.
About the trigger frame, and the board, how was it switching the modes ? Was it a pain to change ROF, did you get the little screw driver for it, does it look like the rocket cock 2 will have problems mounting because of the "custom pro" symbol?
This gun was $240 bucks thats not alot. I have been playing with Tippmanns all my life, I'm so used to them, I could destroy any one that just bought a new impulse. Also, there is no place by me that does nitro fills, and I can run a impulse off co2. Plus my co2 tanks cost 20 bucks I would have to by a 200 doller tank to use that impulse.
i agree. im a tippmann man. i like their reliability, ruggedness, and price. they feel and look more real, which i like seeing as im a woodsballer. i dont bash those that use imps or timmys or 'cockers, i just dont use them. I find them too tempermental. a simple designed tippmann is all i need.
I find it very hard to believe that tippmans rock cuz they suck, and find it very hard to believe that everything else sux when anything besides a tippman rock. There are very few strengths to tippmans and they shoot very slow. I agree with pvro3rg, go buy yourself an electric gun for the same price.

look tippmanns can rock...but high end guns rock too. I use both. I do good with an impulse, but i also do good with a tippmann. I mostly play woodsball and high ends do very good, but so do tippmanns. I don't understand why everyone argues over what guns are better. GET A GUN YOU LIKE AND SHUT THE **** UP!!!!!!
