Review:
Bought this because I was having a tough time keeping my speed 05 from chopping due to rollback while using my Reloader B. It was pushing the ball back into the bolt and allowing 1/3 of the next ball to be squeezed into the breech and getting chopped. I adjusted my ram properly, tried lower settings on the loader and almost gave up on the Reloader B... when using slower loaders like the EGG2 or the Revvy, it worked fine.
I read about the JAM bolt and thought "why not" so I ordered one on a sunday afternoon. I received the bolt on friday. It was safely packaged. To my surprise when I opened the package it was BLACK, on the website it listed white as the only color option. Bolt was well made, delrin with a metal insert and spring. I adjusted my ram back to the middle position, installed the bolt and dropped a ball in the breech to see how it was sitting. It was perectly aligned between the bolt and the detents... it wasn't able to roll forward or backward and wasn't being squeezed... perfect so far. I followed the manufacturers directions and broke it in by firing about 1000 shots with a stick squeegee in the breech.
Now for the real test... I went into my basement and loaded up my reloader b and prepared for the worst... took a few single shots to see if it would even fire, it did, no problems... I then unleashed some speed... emptied the entire hopper without a single chop or misfeed. I loaded it up again, same thing hopper after hopper, not 1 chop, break, barrel break, anything... it was AWESOME!
Played with it this weekend, nothing but the same great results I had in the basement. The only broken paint was on the other team when I lit them up. It was a little more inconsistent over the chrony (compared to my softface) I was getting +/- 6 instead of the 2-3 I was used too... but this could have been anything (paint, temp, etc...) it was worth the trade off though. It also raised my FPS, I had to lower my miniregs pressure to chrono below 300... probably a raise of about 15-20. Not bad.
Conclusion:
If you are experiencing any chopping issues with your Angel due to rollback, get this bolt. Trust me. It really works.
