Sim-5n Stock (no need for many upgrades, besides none available really)
I think that a Q loader would work very nicely with this gun, the hopper seems to stick out even further than my tippmann. I also hear that there will be a hose line magazine comming out this summer, however i don't think that it will affect the performance of the gun, just something to make it look even cooler than it already does. Also if you want to get the grip that has all the tactical mounts on it you can buy that through Ariakon and switch then out, but i heard that it would be cheaper to buy the one that already has the mounts and then buy the sleek grip seperate. really its up to you, but think about it, how often are you going to really need a tac light? and how accurate is a paintball gun to need a laser sight. lets face it, it is just not a real gun.
Strengths: Accurate!
Just looks awesome.
intersting way to strip it (will explain)
Weaknesses: Loud (but no much louder than most prorted barrels)
Review: This gun is in - f*ing - credible. I was origonally going to buy a tippman A-5 and put all the upgrades to make it look more like and MP-5 however i thought that by the time i was done with all that work and money it would just be better to buy a SIM-5. I was right. It might not have the cyclone feed system, but it looks better and in my opinion shoots just as well. I also have to say that it really feels just as sturdy as a tippman. I haven't thrown it against anything or hit it with a hammer, but thats just because if i did manage to break it i just don't have the kind of money to buy another. A lot of people ask me about my A-5 and how much i put in it and i tell them that it is no A-5, I am shooting a Sim-5, and then they wan't to know if they can use it for a game or two, i just smile back and say that she isn't allowed to date until she is 16. but anyway back to the review. I mentioned a neat way to strip it. I was taking it all apart the other night and i found that then you take the top sight rail off, the stock, and the grip you have something that looks a bit like and "evil omen". I have never used an omen so i could say if it shoots like one, but the point i am making is, if you take it apart like that you have a decent speed ball gun. I have played speed ball only once and intend to keep it that way ( i just don't like the attidudes of most of the people who play, and if you are a little whiner get over it, it is a game) but i know that have gun with a stock or un-necisarry bulkage going on can be problem. so with the Sim-5 you can go from a great senario gun to a speed ball gun. I mentioned that the the sights are a weakness, thats just because you can't use them with the mask on, but hey lets face it chances are a paintball wouldn't go exactly where the sights put it anyway.
Conclusion: It is just beautiful, it is one of those things where you get a certain ammount of respect just by walking on the field with that gun. It is great, not only for looks but for performance as well. I know that every one writes reviews saying "this is a great gun, buy it." well it is a great gun and i would recomend it, but please don't buy it, i don't want to lose the franchise on the field, i like being the only one with this gun, but if you insist. It really is great and if you like realistic guns then consider it strongly. Like every gun out there, for some it is great, but for some it might not work so well.

Oh and by the way for all you people who imeadiatly crap thier pants when they see and Angel on the field or what ever, please keep in mind you play against the player not the gun. and don't use the excuse that it can shoot 30+ BPS because if you get shot out by it think of it like them wasting $80 doing it. You play against the player not the gun!

Ok after i have used this marker for a while i have decided that i was wrong with what i wrote earlier. Go with the A-5 and make it look this way, you will be much happier. After i had the gun for a while i found that the performance slipped fast. It lost a lot of velocity and accuracy. I also came to the conclusion that the trigger had too long of a pull. The durability of this gun was crap as well. I managed to break the top sight rail, simply by removing the barrel. The barrel acted as a backbone on this gun, take that out and it starts to break. The feed neck also broke on me, for no reason. It busted while i was cleaning it, and i had to buy a new one from ariakon and of course pay for shipping. So jut throwing that out there for everyone. I have found that the cheap guns have worked the best for me.
