Ridge Boy Tuesday, May 31st, 2005
Period of
Product Use:
3 months
More than 5 years
Products Used:
All other lower end paints, Rampage, Cryptic, Diablo Heat, Midnight, etc. None of these have had the consistancy of Bite.
Marker Setup: Driver Customs Freestyle Pro.
Anything with a .687 bore size. I always use a slightly larger size, around .689, just to play it safe. I do this with all paints.
Strengths: Price
Weaknesses: Not allot of stores & fields carry it.
Review: I've tried all the different lower end paints on the market & when the guys at Karnage came up with Bite, I just had to give it a try. All I can say is WOW! The consistancy & bore size is more up to par with a premium paint. It does run a smaller bore size (.687) & the thickness of the shell is just right. Most other lower end paint is either too thick or too thin. With the Bite it broke on target really well & have never broke any in the gun. And this was using different lot#'s & colors throughout testing, about 15 cases in all.
It's also good enough to use in tourneys if you're in a pinch for cash. Our team used Bite in the last BYOP tourney we played & took 1st. place in the open class division, while another team we know real well took 1st. in the novice division using Bite. In other words, don't be fooled by the price.
Conclusion: Bite has a good shell, good fill, & a good price. It also out performs all other lower end or field grade paints around. It may not have a two/tone shell or be a big named brand, but the performance you get for the price is right up there with the high end premium grades.
