It did not help with kick what so ever in fact my fps went down so i had to up my lpr to 80 to get the same fps so now i have the same amount of kick just a little less with the same psi as the stock one at 70 psi i sold mine and will never buy another one again
Air pressure is a force, the lighter something is the less force required to move an object, it wasnt the ram that is causing your problem, its something else. Blame the ram if you want but your wrong.

The ram is lighter and requires less pressure to move, that is a fact, but since the valve requires a certain amount of pressure to open the lighter moving mass couldnot do the job at a lower pressure. Thus, his LPR had to be increased to get the amount of pressure needed to open the valve. If he had used a lighter valve spring, then the lower LPR pressure would have worked.
So, the ram is partially to blame along with the valve spring. Not just one part but the whole setup. :)
