| Review: |
When i got it i was iffy about how good it was because even though its normally a $92 and should be good i got it for $65. Plus the guy who sold it to me plays for Distortion and they are sponsored by Eclipse. He said he thinks it better than the All-American which was $65 too.
I used it about 2 days after i got it and it was accurate with Evil paint about 75ft away. They landed within 6" of each other. The All-American i tested did about the same but Evil is kinda small for the AA but fits the Shaft perfectly.
After about 2 games i ran out of Evil so i busted out a bag of Chronic because they are the most similar paint to Evil. They were just as accurate and then about 25 balls later one broke and they all started going everywhere. The Evils still mixed in with the Chronic in my hopper would shoot dead on still through the break but the chronic was terrible. I cleaned it and then took a few test shots around the 10th shot another chronic broke. So i cleaned it again in water and dried it off so it had no paint or moisture on it at all and took 4 shots. All of them broke. Took one more and it was an Evil ball, dead straight.
The way i could tell only the Chronic was breaking is because they were orange and the Evil were yellow. Just for the people who doubt that i would know.
The reversed threads are really only preference. I can see why people would get it stuck on their autocockers but mine is fine i didn't need it. I can't take points off or add them for this just because its all preference.
This is some time after the review.
I went to the big game a canobie nov. 20. went to the chrono with some stingers and i was shooting ball on ball and only 250fps. I turned it up to about 270fps and it still shot dead on. then just this saturday with another bag of stingers i was shooting dead on up to 75ft away. There was some kid on a rock about 150ft away video taping us. Got him in the sack with one shot. i was surprised. I think this is way better than an all american and i got it for the same price. |

| Conclusion: |
Barrel is great with smaller paint. Evils tend to just roll out of an AA but they fit perfect in this barrel.
If you can find it for $65 or less get it but not sure if it is worth $92 unless you get more than 1 back, performs same as an All-American.
Edit: Get this barrel if you want a good cheap barrel but i recommend using stingers they work great and are cheap paint. |
