Review: I'll start by saying that I bought this gun used, after its career in the NPPL under the Misfit Toys. If a gun's used up there, ESPECIALLY an Impulse, it's gotta be good. And it is, thanks mostly to the Delrin Trigger. I prefer a long, light trigger pull, and with this setup, I can drop a pencil on the trigger, and it's sheer weight fires the gun. No bounce. The trigger seems to have the opposite of return speed issues; FBM kept true to their "no-spring" promise.
The surface for walking is smooth and wide, and so after shooting the highest end guns, (Ego's, Timmy's, Shocker's, Pimp's, Freestyle's, etc.) this is still the most comfortable, fastest trigger to me. Never since I got this gun have I felt another trigger as light as mine, or any time before, for that matter. I didn't realize i when I got the gun, but I'll never get rid of my Impulse; right off the bat it was child's play to get out 14+bps.
Conclusion: FBM, in my opinion, makes good stuff. This trigger is no exception; I have them on three of my guns. They are my favorite triggers for any gun, from any maker. Recommended over any trigger for the Impulse, the popular CP Roller included. If you're thinking of a trigger, this is the way to go. The CP's pull may be smoothest, but won't come out ahead when both are tested for speed. 10/10; the unquestioned best trigger for the Impulse.
