This is a relatively new product I was able to buy off ebay at a very low price. I was looking for something inexpensive to use with my semi-auto R6 that was suited more for woods play as opposed to speed ball. The flat black powder coating will work great for making it harder for my opponents to see me when hiding in the brush. I tested it on my Eforce R6 for about 50 rounds and on my semi-auto R6 for about 50 more rounds. After test shooting the 100 rounds this barrel seems every bit as quiet as either of our SP barrels. The accuracy was more consistent than our SP barrels, especially on my semi-auto R6 operating in the 300-400 psi range. Once they get out over 100 feet, shots from our SP barrels have a tendency to curve one way for 3 or 4 shots and then another way for 3 or 4 shots. Almost all the shots from this barrel reacted pretty much the same way which will make those long distance shots a lot more consistent. My Eforce R6 stuttered one time during the test shots and chopped a ball. As expected, the accuracy was lousy after that, but the barrel cleaned up easily and continued shooting well. I worry about performance more so than looks. This barrel is pretty basic cosmetically so, to me, it looks good on my R6 markers. It does have some flat spots milled onto the marker half of the barrel. Since I like to shoot like I'm shootng a rifle it works well for me, providing a nice grip to hold on to.. |

Judging from the test shots I believe this barrel will do everything I would expect it to and more. Now my son wants me to buy him one. |
