Strengths:
What is good about this product? Well, you always have a perfect or at least close to pefect Fit. It comes in a nice case, and is a decent barrel. This is Dead acurate up to 50'
Weaknesses:
What's bad? I cannot speak for all freak kits, but I had a 14" All American Tip and a Stainless Steel back for my Angel. I found that at 280 FPS the ball would curve at the end of it's travel. Starting at 50' out, the trajectory would change into a corkscrew and would curve all over the place. I tried different kinds of paint, different inserts with the paints, and different velocities. My results were the same all the time.
Conclusion:
I have owned the freak kit for over 4 months now, and I just sold it. I feel that the kit is more hype than anything. For the price you could get 2 boomsticks, a .688 and a .691 and they would fit almost any paint you have.
This is just my expirience with the Freak Kit, I would suggest trying once for yourself before purchasing.
that could have been a defect in the end of the inserts. Did you call smart parts and ask for a replacement? the second thing is that EXTREMELY HIGH velocity causes eratic ball behavior after first 50 to 100 feet
Dispute: this is why angels are front player guns. angels are not what you could call long ballers. a1s are fine, in fact they shoot amazing, but other angels just dont get the job done quite right. anyway, everyone else said what to do. i have a freak and it works amazing. i am not the only amazed one that i know, practicaly everyone on my team uses freaks and we have no complaints.
