Essentially an over-priced item, you are NOT getting your money's worth... It is a spring that Shocktech gets for near nothing and in return, charges you extra cash just to buy it from them.
While it DOES function, it's not worth the money at all... Worst $5 I have ever used. Sold it for $10 on PbNation and got a pen spring, hahaha.
Do what I did. I took a spring from G2 Pilot Pen and just used that and viola! It works better and was free!!!
It prevents jams by keeping the balls low ad they go under the beads. The stock Halo spring is to short, and balls can go around the spring, and get pinched between the beads and drive cone.
OK so you're saying the thing is a piece of crap why?? oh yeah, I remember cuz you didn't think of it until someone else did. if it was a hunk of junk, you wouldn't have made your own out of a pen spring. so your review should be like " this thing works, but I found out that you can just use a pen spring and it works just as well"
all you need to stop bashing the manufacturers cuz they thought of something good!!!
