Review:
I have this board in my 2K2 Angel. When I first tested it out i was amazed at how fast it was. I never saw an old school angel shoot so fast. The first thing i did was reprogram the board. I set the MROF to 20 (for testing) and put it on semi auto, FAST. I then decided to fool around with some of the other modes, i changed the MROF to 28 and put it on PSP 1 (3 shots then ramping)...holy crap was this insane. Every mode offers something different and most are programmable. One of the features i really like is you can set the eyes off ROF. Having that mode has come in handy. Predator really takes care of their costumers, they offer a life time software upgrade, new code comes out just send your board in and they do the rest. You dont have to keep on buying new chips every year to keep up.
Conclusion:
Overall I would recommend this product to anyone. You really can’t get much better then a TAG Predator board. The only down fall is that it drains the battery when it’s off, so just unplug the board from the battery and you will be all good. This has been the best product i have ever got for my marker.
Thanks for the review.
I would like to add a couple of things to your review.
1. All boards that use a momentary button to turn them on actually are on ALL the time. they just do not draw very much power and are in a sleep state. This is common in the board business unless the board uses a battery kill system like our older predator morlocks.
2. The reason you are having issues with your board running your battery down is that it needs a software upgrade. This will completely correct the issue. Since all Predators have a lifetime warranty any code upgrades are 100% free.
