Review:
This gun needs to offer something Tippmann doesn't:
You can't add eyes.
You can't add grips.
You can't make it vertical feed.
You can't make it compact.
You can't add the cool military barrels because its Spyder threaded.
You can't add a double trigger becaue the Tippmann one doesn't fit.
It is the slowest electronic gun on the market.
It doesn't come with Tippmanns durability, warranty or customer service.
This one did not work in mechanical mode because the trigger would get stuck in the back position.
Conclusion:
Go buy the original, buy a Tippmann. Or save a couple more dollars and buy an Ion.
really it seems as if he didn't even get the gun....he just seems pissed off because some other company caught on to the contract the is now null and void for tippmann...next time REVIEW the gun....don't go crying some other company actually caught on to the concept of money making!!
Yeah this is a bad review and I don't think he has even used the gun. There are no details about the gun other than the trigger thing and that sounds made up.
people if uve used it write a review if not dont comment
with that said, Ionsuxors, you are a stupid noob and have just made that readaly apperent for all to see. You see you call this slow, it is certanly faster than the tippman equivlants, if for no other reason then it being electro. It is a good gun and does nit deserve a 1 at all. if people did this too all the syder knock off 50% of low end electrical guns whould be flammed.
if u dont like savin a few bucks on a fake tippman who cares and 13 bps i wouldnt say is slow and dont even think about commenting on pmi's warrany its great so if dont like this gun its not because of ur claims about its warranty or performance its because ur a woodsball poser who only likes tippmans and theres nothing wrong with that but theres nothing wrong with this gun and PS; ur not allowed to advertise for sp or tippman
I think his main problem is he uses a smart parts gun. Smart parts plain and simple is just bad, but be careful what you say or the gardner brothers might sue you.
i feel that this gun is a direct copy of the A5 except for the cyclone feed. they swapped out that for the 98 custom feed neck. BUT i wouldnt go posting that as a review. I'd post that in comments.
Well clearly a pirahna isnt a spyder but it uses spyder stuff. Its called cloneing, this is the closest thing to an a-5 clone thus naturally you might asume it might take some a-5 parts. dosent look like thats the case however.
I saw this gun and was like, wow it looks like a tippmann...Not even close. You dont need an eye on the A-5 because of the cyclone feed. That is also why you dont need a vertical feed. Conclusion: This gun shoots bad, looks like an A-5 and a 98 custom had a baby, and its slow. Just do yourself a favor and get an A-5
Hey just so everyone knows PMI who makes the PCS line also has Tippman in its catalog. And yes everything that you can put on a tippman you can put on this gun. Excluding the barrels.
Dispute: it is obvious that you are being WAY to biased and subjective.
this review should be thrown out.
PCS has gone into a great deal of work to try and bring in a scenario marker, which is their first, to make a name for themselves in a tough market niche.
I presume that PMI / PCS wanted to create an excellent gun for the price to compete with Tippmann, Ben Tippmann, Ariakon, etc, ESPECIALLY since they Cut Off distributions relations with Tippmann.
It's pretty obvious that Tippmann is making the body for the US5 for PCS/PMI. But internally there seems to be some upgrades and modifications, beyond the grip system, that makes the US5 better than a stock A5. But given the lawsuit hungry lawyers in our culture, you can bet that the design was licensed from Tippmann.
