2006 black/blue Proto matrix (pm6), stiffi, dye ultralite .688 , Dye Ultralite Grip frame, Halo B w/ victory board.
Ultralite Frame cause the battery wires will rip easily so get one asap
Barrel- stiffi and/or ultralite.
Lower presure bolt
stock clamping feedneck, on/off and 2 piece barrel
ABSOLUTELY No Mechanical Weaknesses
Efficenciy: I thought that the effic. was very good. i could get about 1000 shots from a 45 45 so that was nice.
Kick: None unless settings are bad.
Accuracy: Great. I cant really say because it depends mostly on the barrel so depending on what barrel u get, your accuracy will very.
Speed: Very Very Very fast for a stock board. I was thinking i needed to get a new board right away because the only mode was semi auto, but i was wrong. If u got fingers that can work the trigger (walking) u will shoot atleast 17 i promise.
Sound. Very Very Quiet. If you have ever shoot a dm3, this is the current "dm3" with out the weight.
Chronographing: The chronographing was ok. It was +/- 7 which is good i guess. After the gun is broke in, it will be much better.
Weight: as light as a shocker. I was pleased with the lightness of the gun. Deff. noticable compared to the proto 05.
My final recommendation on this product is buy it. If you are taking the time too read this then you have some interest in this gun. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it so buy it. its a mini dm6. Sure it doesnt come with a ultralite frame but who cares. This gun rips. Quiet, Light, Fast, Efficent, and Cheep. Who you more do you want?
Nice review and i agree with everything, but what is the dm3? i thought they started at 4, o well. O and you might want to fix that last sentence "Who you more do you want?"
doesn't really make sense.
nice review otherwise
A DM3 vaguely resembles an Impulse. They're commonly referred to as just "Matrixes," and have a history of stunning quality. The main problem with them was that they were oversized and overweight. Kinda like a 4 x 4 Shocker, if you ever shoot one of those. ( They're practically flawless, only you could fracture a skull by dropping it from the height of a foot. I never saw the actual weight for one, but I've heard it's between 5 and 10 pounds. I don't doubt 5. )
great review- but getting a new board would not help you shoot faster, the only thing that controls that is your fingers (unless you're ramping, which is for people who dont't know how to walk a trigger), and if you don't know how to walk a trigger you should not be getting this gun...
