Review:
This was one of the first mods that I picked up for my A5, and I haven't taken it off except for cleaning.
For me, it feels more natural than using the stock k-grip, or even the longer grips put out by other companies for the A5. It fits nice and snug on the marker, no slippage at all, matter of fact, it takes a bit to get it on and off.
The bottomline will get in the way until you get used to using this grip, but after awhile you won't even notice it, and if you are more comfortable firing your marker like a rifle, then this is the perfect mod.
Not too mention, its fairly cheap and easy to install. I play a little rough with my marker, and I have yet to see even a scratch!
Conclusion:
I definately recommend this product for anyone that wants a different look or feel to their A5. I have yet to see many people using it, so it really makes your A5 stand out a bit. Too bad it doesn't come in a woodgrain look!
Dispute: ???? Why did you give in an 8 out of 10? everyone else said it was great, you didn't say anything against it( "...this is the perfect mod"), then give it an 8? WHY????????
I gave it an '8' because although it works great, it doesn't go above and beyond. I believe that a 9 or 10 should be reserved for those things that actually add to performance for everybody, this mod really only helps out those that are used to firing rifles. If you aren't accostumed to firing rifles, this may not help you at all.
It is great, I love the mod, but I won't hand out a 9 or a 10 for just anything, it has to really impress me.
Also, it can't be used with the low pressure kit, another minus. If SpecOps can find a way to stick the lpk in the A5A2 stock than I will give that specific stock a 10, because it would go above and beyond covering all the bases and actually improving performance of the marker.
