Safariland Drop Leg Holster

Weaknesses: I have found no weakness.
Review: The first thing I noticed when I purchased the holster was how sturdy it was. I have a kydex holster for concealed carry and the RAIDER holster is better quality. Seems to me like it'll take a lickin' and keep on tickin'!

The second thing I noticed was that it fit right into the slot on my vest. I have the LRRP 1200rd vest with built in rings, thus eliminating the need to buy a pistol belt. I was easily able to adjust the strap to the height that I like. I REALLY like that feature.

The third thing I noticed about it was.. IT FITS ON MY FREAKING LEG! Most of the straps (like on the dump bags.. hint hint wink wink nudge nudge) are too small for me to wear high on the thigh like I like them, leaving me to wear them by my knee where the strap fits. The strap on this thing had MORE than enough room. I actualy had to tighten it down to get it to fit.

The fourth thing I noticed was that it felt good. The cup actualy cupped my leg. I ran a couple laps around my house (thank goodness it was dark) and I felt very little wobble on my leg like I have with many other leg rigs I have worn in the past. I also heard no noise from the holster.

The fifth thing I noticed was that it fit the marker perfectly. As he says in the demo, you will physicly feel it lock into place- and that's where it stayed until I yanked it out. I didnt have to struggle with it, but it does require an intentional draw to take it out of the holster. I pulled it in every other which way like he does in the video and that sucker would not move until I WANTED to draw it. Now I just need to practice the no look draw stroke and return.

All in all, I like it. ALOT.

Conclusion: This is a GREAT holster! I would HIGHLY recomend this holster to ANYONE with the PT Jr. You get maximum bang for your buck!
