I got this thinking it would look good and hold more paint. I tried it out in my backyard and it was fine. But as soon as tried it playing the paint kept breaking in it. I thought it was just because it was cold. I tried again and the paint broke in it again. This cause my cycle feed to get covered in paint and my shots to be extremely inaccurate. So if you want to get the R5 for your a-5 i suggest you get the R5 stealth because it has padding in it so it doesnt make noise and protects the balsl from breaking.
Conclusion:
I suggest you don't get it. If you want it for looks get the R5 stealth. It is a little bit more expensive but worth it.
actually, it does. Not the gun its self (as in fireing) but the balls rattling around in it (as in running with it). The Stealth, or Sniper as I've seen it called on some sites, has a lineing that reduces ball rattle, and keeps them from breaking (at least somewhat). I recommend the Sniper version myself, its only a little more, and its a big step ahead. Or you can make your own, as detailed in one of the reviews below.
Dispute: I've been playing Paintball for some 10 years now and I currently am the head airsmith at a paintball store here in south florida. I gotta say, I have NEVER heard of a hopper(a big platic tub) break paint. And if so, did you consider that it might be the paint and to try some different brand? yeah....total bs.
hey i got a question about your A-5, i saw the pic you posted of your gun, and i wanted to know how you got your tank backwards like that, it looks awsome!
