Review:
Although I have been playing for nearly 17 years, this was my first motorized hopper. I hadn't felt the need but decided to give one a try. I bought it off eBay and was pleased at first. I used it for about five or six days of play (still first batteries) and the impeller split in half. I also noticed spider web cracking on the feedneck. I suspected something else wasn't quite right with it so I boxed it up and off it went to Empire.
I shipped it back to Empire with some hope that I could get it repaired without costing me a great deal since it was still so new. The informed me that the 90 day warranty had expired and I would be responsible for the new shells, impeller, and board. Yes, the board had somehow gone bad also. I was told this would be about $35. At that point, I told him to trash it and I would not be buying another Empire product. I still haven't...
Conclusion:
Don't bother buying this unless they have greatly improved it since I bought mine. I did like the magnetic lid...
