Ok i picked up this reg after destroying my detonator, the reg seat was sucked up into the reg itself. Anyhow I was kinda worried that this reg was gonna be on the low end since it was only 50 through my shop, but it turned out otherwise. Its light, has a extreemly good recharge rate, comes with the gauge plugs and MACRO FITTING-very nice. after field testing it it performed very well and needs little maintence. great reg get it if you need one
Conclusion:
Great reg way above average (average is a 5 people) so it gets a 8 from me.
u know the reg seat would be replaced for free with the det. Thats why evil has lifetime warranty. They even suggest that u super glue the reg seat in place. The reason they get cut through and sucked up into the piston is because of improper adjusting. When adjusting the reg u must turn in 1/4 turn incremements and fire the marker so the pressure difference changes. Or else there will be too much pressure on the piston pushing down which will then cut right through the reg. seat.
how would you compare this to a cp and torp? Just got one of these for my E2 prostock. Havent installed it yet, but was debating between this and the torp & cp.
