Review: Fresh off the purchase of my first Ariakon Overlord pistol, I ordered this Commando tactical holster from Opsgear for $59. Even though I have gone on to purchase other hosters from Special Ops, Cops 911, and RAP4 to use for left-hand draw (dual-wielding a second Overlord) and in other colors than OD, this Commando holster continues to be my favorite.

The holster is fairly unique in using a Velcro-adjustable wrap design to fir a wide range of paintball pistols. It secures my Overlord as if it were custom-made. It has a rigid thumb break that secures with both a snap and a Velcro tab, allowing for super-quick draws but never giving up the gun before you want it to. It even refastens quickly when you're on the run. The rubber-backed twin leg straps secure are ancored with confortable elastic gores, fully adjustable, and secured with convenient Fastex quick-release bindings (as does the excellent belt loop). This means once you get the leg straps adjusted, they have just enough give to stay confortable through your complete range of motion and actrivity without and slipping or rotation, and the holster with the gun in it can be put on or taken off quickly and easily (with the belt clip still in place on your pistol belt).

The Commando holster is pricey, and only comes in two colors, olive drab and digital woodland. Opsgear is carrying more and more items in ACUPat camo, so I hope the slate production of some of these in that pattern! Even at the current price, I'd get in line for another one!
Conclusion: Excellent holster for virtually any paintball pistol. Excellent quality and smart design. Buy one!
