Recommended
Upgrades:
better barrel
ELECTRONIC HOPPER!!!!!!!!!- this is a must!!!!!
Strengths: None Wish i would have boght an ION instead
Weaknesses: Unreliable
load, heavy
unbalanced
crappy regulator
Review: This gun is pretty bad. It is so unreliable it breaks down just about every time I use it.
It is a complete and total gas hog even with the regulator on like 500 psi. I would not reccomend this to anybody. Everybody should get an ION. ION's are the pro gun that anybody can afford.
Conclusion: Moral of the story- dont be a retard like me and be worried about having to use nitro!!!

GET A FRIKEN ION AND GROW OUT OF SPYDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating:
5 out of 10

Just stick to reviewing the spyder and don't turn it into an Ion advertisement. If you had issues and can substantiate the claims then great, but you don't have to flame Spyder and say "grow up" like Spyder is a kiddie gun and Ions are for manly men. -Sheesh!

Your slamming, man. Weight- Only .3 pounds heavier than an ion, and if you get a new barrel it will never chop, it's totally reliable, and another thing, with spyder's it's not a regulator, it's an Expansion Chamber, and you can get new ones. Stock Ions have crappy regulators to, but you don't see me slamming ions.

That is debatable, most people I know of who wen't through the trouble to break the ION reg in found it to be quite consistent, although not too good at high rates of fire.

I agree that he should review the marker based on it's own merits though; rather than simply stating that it is horrible and going on to preach about the ION. Personally I don't think the Electra is bad, per se; it just doesn't have anything to really distinguish it from other Spyders (and no, the rocking trigger doesn't make enough of a difference with most people to count).

Really, this whole review was all about ions. I really dont think ions are that great, and to change modes you have to take em apart. I just got the fenix but so far i havnt had any problems.Dang fast too.
