Products Used:
Pro-Team Products ASR 1 Sight Rail: Used briefly, removed after testing it for a day. Not nearly as versatile as the Striker Rail, mainly due to the fact that the ASR1 only mounts 3/8" rail sights/scopes. You can't use the Striker Rail as a carry handle like you can with the ASR 1, however.

Underground Mod Shop Short Striker Rail: I haven't actually used this product, but it is virtually the same as the Striker Rail, except that it is shorter, slightly taller, and most importantly, doesn't require a Flatline to mount. It is slightly more expensive, however.
Marker Setup: Tippmann A-5 with the following modifications/upgrades: 32 Degrees Macroline Kit With Elbow & Straight Fitting, Bushnell Banner 1-4 x 32mm Riflescope, EastGate Design Hopper Adapter, G&G S.R.R. Scope Ring Riser W/FLIP Rear Sight for Flat Top Upper Receiver, Opsgear Barrett Style GAS THRU Tippmann A5 Sniper MAG, Palmer's Pursuit Shop Stabilizer, Proteam Products Solid F/X Sniper Stock, Ricochet R5 Hopper, Star QD Knight's Type Flip-Up Front Sight for 20mm Top Rail, Tippmann A5 EGrip, Underground Mod Shop 98C Flatline for A5, Underground Mod Shop Striker Rail, Unknown Brand Coiled Remote, G&P Jungle Series for RAS QD M203 Grenade Launcher Short, Pure Enegry 12oz CO2 Tank, RAP4 M203 Thunder Grenade.
Strengths: Allows you to mount virtually any Weaver/Picatinny sight, scope, or accessory on the planet.
Weaknesses: Requires Flatline to use, complicates barrel removal and marker dissassembly.
Review: The Striker Rail mounts to the A-5 with a clamp that fits over the rear 3/8" rail on the top of the A-5 and a single set screw that replaces one of the screws on the Flatline barrel. The clamp is secured by two large thumbscrews that are easy top manipulate and do not loosen over extended playing time. No plastic is used in the rail's construction; it is 100% metal.

Attached to the Striker Rail, I have a Star QD Knight's Type Flip-Up Front Sight and a G&G S.R.R. Scope Ring Riser W/FLIP Rear Sight, which in turn has a Bushnell Banner 1-4 x 32mm Scope mounted to it. That's a decent amount of accessories on just one rail, but even with all that on there, there's still plenty of room left.

The only thing that gets in the way of mounting accessories on the Striker Rail is, unfortunately, not a problem with the rail, but the A-5. The Cyclone requires that a portion of the rail towards the front to be cut away, meaning that it is impossible to mount accessories on a small 1" portion towards the front of the rail. The Cyclone also can get in the way of any scope or sight if a standard hopper is used. If a tac-cap or offset hopper mod is used, then scopes or sights can be easily employed.

Another problem with the Striker Rail is the result of the forward mounting screw that attaches the rail to the Flatline. This extra screw must be removed every time the user wants to take off the Flatline. The inconvienience of this varies from person to person; personally, I don't mind it too much.
Conclusion: Quite simply, the coolest, beefiest top rail you can get for your A-5, as long as you can get past the hopper problem. If quick removal of your Flatline barrel is a priority, consider the added time it will take to remove the barrel with the rail attached.
