CP Regulator
Marker Setup: Spyder Xtra, APEX / J&J Ceramic/Teflon Barrel, Pure Energy 72 CU/3000 PSI
Strengths: Price - got it for $20 on eBay a while back.
Weaknesses: Didn't seem to do a good job regulating.
Review: I am writing this review because no one else has written a review. I found the PHAT Regulator on eBay for about $20, it appeared new. It was black and the entire grip portion swivels. At the time it had a functional website which claimed that they dissassembled competitors regulators to develop their own regulator.

I had it on my Spyder XTRA for a few months. It shot +/-10 FPS. But I did not know about regulator break in periods, etc., so I sold it on eBay.... got about $2 for it (I'm not kidding and wish I had not sold it because I would rather have the regulator than $2). I bought a CP regulator to replace it...I'm still in the break-in period, so I can't compare them.

Their website no longer says anything about their regulator, so I think they no longer sell this regulator.
Conclusion: The regulator works, maybe it would have worked better if I kept it after the breakin period.
Rating:
7 out of 10
