Review:
This hopper really improves the line of sight looking down the barrel, regardless of whether you use the stock MP5 style sights, a specialized sight, or even if you just "point and shoot". You can actually see down the barrel and approximately 3 cm off to the right side, which makes it much easier to sight a target, especially in snap shooting. I noticed that I my line of sight before using the original hopper setup was restricted in an approximately 25 degree clockwise arc; with this installed, you are able to get a clear line of site on your ever important frontal arc (~60 degrees).
It is not hard to load on this angle; I rarely reload during a game anyways, but it is not complicated or difficult.
One thing I noticed about this product out of the box is that it is VERY sturdy. It is welded aluminum (the tack marks being very noticeable, but it still looks awesome. The entire unit is a very dark black, which I was pleased to see.
This offset increases your capacity by about 20 balls. It does increase the weight of your setup somewhat, but that can be expected with another piece of metal and some more balls.
The only downside to this product is that it is very tight compared to the hopper intended for it. It fits fine into the cyclone, but you need to really force the hopper into it. It shaved off some of the hopper cylinder and squat the square knob, which does not matter much if you are using the stock hopper. However, if you are using an R5 (never used myself), you may be better off sanding down some of the offset's interior.
Conclusion:
Before you buy a fancy sight or rail for your A5 (or cycloned 98), get this product. It allows you to fully use the stock sights that may have been neglected prior to its installation.
There is some room for improvement, as it does not fit entirely correctly, but still an awesome product. This could be fixed with a small adjustment during manufacturing.
Make this the first upgrade for your A5!!!
