Tippmann A-5 with Trinity AK expansion chamber and AK-47 barrel.
Strengths:
Sturdy, looks good, has space for a swab/squeegee.
Weaknesses:
Not very practical for aiming.
Review:
The stock looks great on the gun, and if your not wearing a mask it works very well. But, as we all know, most people wear a full face mask when playing paintball, so that gets in the way and eliminates the ability to shoot using the normal sights on the gun.
Pros: It's very sturdy and can take plenty of abuse. It has a compartment in the rear to put cleaning supplies in, which can be very useful in the field. It also has a strap ring on it that's removeable from a screw. Any tank up to 20oz. will fit under it comfortably, but i would still recommend a remote line.
Cons: It's not practical for aiming. When i first used mine, it actually spun at the point where it connects to the gun, but the top screw in the rear tightens so that it doesnt do that. I would still prefer a full fixed stock. It also tends to wobble after it's been installed and removed a few times.
Conclusion:
It's a good stock, however it sacrifices top rail aiming for good stability and looks. I still like the compartment to put cleaning tools in. I'll give it a 9 because it cant have all it's other features if it allowed you to aim through the top sights.
