Review:
The R3 is a cheap, effective, and reliable gun that compares to an Ion for a couple bucks less. Its fun to shoot, fun to play with, and will keep you in the game. A little bit of an air hog, but get a new regulator and that will help. The stock trigger is not that good, but upgrade it to a Zenitram trigger and it will be much faster. The available colors are nice, and the stock board and LCD have a lot of useful modes such as 99 round burst.
Conclusion:
Get it if you don't want to buy an Ion, and still want a great gun. Recommended to all as a primary or backup gun.
