Review:
Got this new off EBAY for $51. I don't know why anyone would pay the $120 it retails for. I figured I was going to get a barrel and front sight post anyway and would pay around $70 for those so getting both at his price was worth it. But not at first. I had a bad experience putting it on and then I found the small allen screw underneath the sight. Things lined up after that. But frustrating at first.
The durability remains to be seen, but first impression isn't good. And really that is unacceptable from something that is supposed to be $120 and is supposed to go on a Tippmann - renowned for durability! But perhaps I'm only judging a book by its cover. We shall see.
I can't comment on the barrel effect on the shot just yet, but will edit my review after I get a chance to take it to the field.
Conclusion:
THINK before you buy this!
My first impression is it's an over priced barrel with some plastic parts that will break. Perhaps just getting a decent $30-40 barrel and front sight post would have been the way to go, but for the $51 I spent I can't complain too much. Glad I didn't spend $120 though!
If you are set on buying this barrel kit, be forewarned you will want an offset for the cyclone hopper to be able to use the front sight post.

FYI the real handguard for the M4 is polymer AKA really expensive plastic, and as for durability it is made by BT which is a division of Tippmann so the durability should be exceptional.
