"Big Red" Chrono & the handheld Sports Sensors model. Big red is HUGE and aside from being durable and reliable, not particularly special. The handheld radarchron unit is nice but having to reset it after each shot is a bit obnoxious.

Review: I've owned a handheld Radarchron for a while but having to reset it after each shot is annoying.

This unit is a bit larger but has an extremely easy to read display and far more features than the small unit.

I will expand on this review as I use the unit more but I give it a 10/10 in all categories - easy to use, small, lightweight (fits in a tactical vest pocket), durable, feature-packed.

The only downside is the leather holster which is practically useless - I'd rather put the unit in a pocket. Just use the included yellow slip cover to protect it.

You can get a "chrono-station" kit for the unit that puts a lexan protector over the unit and adds a base which everything folds down into. The unit also has a brass tripod mount and a wire "frame" stand that folds out from the back and lets you use the unit on any flat surface. Very nice touches.
Conclusion: Get it. The manufacturer is working on getting distributors but you can order from them direct in the meantime.
Rating:
10 out of 10
