Review:

*Story of a JD A1 owner and me*

Ok, so I ref every now and than at a local field.

A kid walks in with a Joy devision Angel 1, hes about 11 years old. The marker is brand new, never seen the field. He pulls out a pulse loader, and his dad/uncle buys him paint. Hes wearing nib C7 pants and a hoodie. He says hes been playing 5 times, and wanted the best marker setup on the market.

Somewhere between loading up his NIB pulse, and filling his loader, he dropps the A1 from about 3 ft up, along with the pulse and dye tank. The pulse nolonger works. Observing and laughing to my self, I offer him my Reloader B, in exchange for some time to tinker with the settings, and the OLED scroll wheel, and some paint.

He agrees and heads out to play. Another young kid who is about 10 with a PMR and jeans Challenges the A1 boy 1on1. I ref but I wasnt on the clock or anything. The game lasts 2 seconds, and the A1 boy is out off the break. He was scared to play anybody else, so he walks up and says my gun isnt shooting fast. After that he cried a bit where I went to work on the Angel 1.When I found out how to use breakout/ramp he was the happiest kid ever. His dad/uncle kept giving us paint to put through the gun. We ramped out about 3/4th of a case. good times... good times...

*Review starts here:

The gun is light as hell, balances perfactly, making it easy to switch hands or play tight. The standard ASA/bleed is also verry nice. Throw a 45 45 on it, and a revy and you might have the lightest setup ever.

The trigger frame was a 45 deg type, but with no dramatic hump like timmys, or the 45 frame for the G7/G7fly. The trigger was a nice and simple magnetic blade, it was externally adjustable with some allen keys to the point of perfection, 14-15bps pure semi is to be expected.

Kick would be the only small fault. There is some, and the gun is loud. But seriously, those things could be worked out if I attempted to balance the LPR/HPR, and I was pretty sure that the kid was shooting hot.(couldnt find chrono).

I love the milling. Joy is engraved on the breach, and there are swapped yellow parts. The anno is a flawless black gloss.

Preformance wise, I did not get a single barrel break, or chop, in 3/4th of a case on ramping, breakout, semi, and NXL full auto.

The OLED interface is the best software ever. A1 board>Virtue, seriously, no lie.

Accuracy was spot on, with good paint/barrel match. Hell this thing comes with a kit (its good to overbore with popit style guns)

After 2 hours with the JD A1, I knew I should get one. But I am to broke, so I settled for a standard one Used, for a cool 700$. About half of what the 11 year olds dad paid (1350).
Conclusion: If you know your stuff, and have the bank, this is the best angel ever.
Rating:
10 out of 10

I was the one who sumbited this product and after such a long time seeing that no-one has written a review this is such an enjoyment. I really wanted to see reviews for it before i considered buying it and now i definantly am. I could get the regular A1 but i like this one, its sexy. Thank you.

These are definitely my style of gun, they just cost sooo much. My teammate uses a stock A1 and it rips faster and better than my UL'd PM6. I just need the money, and then this will be my new gat.

/ The flaw with that is that you might have to wait 20 years, or a chance you may never recieve your goods.

i second the fact that those sites take a long time, don't use em, they don't lie on the price but it will take FOREVER (twenty yrs is a serious possibility)

ya, been drooling over completely getting the lightest setup available (that isn't completely ridiculous) with the sly barrel kit, mini, legionair 45, pulse (with rf if the mini gets ups thatll make it go mad fast) and its all for under a grand and its been makin me save up for a long time. if they weren't pre-teen and i wasn't a legal adult, i'd knock those kids out. seriously, just come to the field with a polo, dockers and deck shoes, don't wear hoodies.

story made me pissed, especially because the kid had the chance to get a hybrid mummy or the sl66 xsv ego and he DIDN'T!!!!!

also, if the kid didn't get the rf chip for the pulse he should go back to nursin on his mommy's (or nanny's cause that's how that fam prob works, pay for other ppl to do the werk) t*ts

wow, vaporizers hit hard

I got a similar story, and Ill keep it short.

I was reffing at my local field when this regular kid came in sportin a new DM5 (at the time it had just been released) He told his wealthy father he wanted it so he could play with everyone else (ie, equipment owners/speedball players) This kid decided to take his gun apart before playing and totally fubar'd it, he losened the LPR, turned out the reg, cross-threaded his barrel...I sat there and watched him as he grabbed a strap wrench and tightened his barrel on so hard it was fused to the gun. ANyways, after about 2 hours of him watching all the other kids play, he started crying so bad. So I went up to him, told him I would take a look at his gun if he wanted help. He just wiped snot from his nose and nodded. I went to work fixing everything he ferked up, and having never taken a DM or PM apart before, I think I did pretty good. His barrel was done for...but I managed to work out all the bugs just in time for his dad to come by and drive him home. I think I actually saw him spike the gun before hopping into his dad's Land Rover, and I never saw him again...

Word of advice to all you young kids who think you're the next MacGuyver...If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT

LOL, and the fact it's a pyramid scheme and as such illegal in the USA doesn't bother you?
