I origanally had a diasy red dot monted just on my tippy, however when i bought the Opsgear G36c stuff, i decided that if i was going to milsim my gun, a cheap sight wouldnt cut it, (also daisy uses dovetail monts). I got the sight for 45 bucks at wallyworld, got it home and mounted it onto my gun, it looks tough, and is.
during a game, i got involved in a fairly heavy firefight, my gun later taking the brunt of the balls, and to my horror, just as i was lining up wat would have been my next "kill", through the sight, i watched a ball come from nowhere and SMACk, direct hit on the lense of my brand new tasco sight...
i walked off the field, pulled a rag out, wiped the piant off , and the sight was fine... and was in to play the next game
The sight mounts very firmly to the rails, and im sure if i wanted to, could pick my gun up by it, the 11 brightness setting are nice to have, however level is just the one i use. In daylight, the red dot is still visibleand is easy to use. This sight is very very good on batteries, and i have not had to change them yet, and the dot is still very small, (with the daisy, when the batteries got low, the dot became larger and blurred)
I also found that i can use both eyes open at the correct distance from the sight to have a eyes open picture of everything, a big plus, as you still have your perifieral vision to your left or right. |

Tough, looks good, bright, $50 , why not?
