Review: I pre-ordered my bone pack over the summer of 06. DueyDog happened to be out of stock when i ordered but had a deal 20% off pack, charger, and gun battery all which came to like $65 total with shipping. This is substantially less than the competitors with similar performances.

assembly-nothing really required, just take out your stock halo/reloader B 6 AA adapter and plug the bone right into the positive/negative connectors like you would a 9 volt.

I haven't used my halo with a stock board or any other board than the cheetah. I bought it used and i am pretty sure it is the version 2 flash of the cheetah but not 100% on that. everything else is stock on my halo nothing broken or out of place. I have been using the bone pack a little over 3 months now. when i first got it it had some power in it at least enough to spin my drive cone so i thought it came charged already i didn't know what to expect. the instructions said to charge for 4 hours for first use and not to over charge more than a few hours or it may permanently damage the pack. My cheetah board was yellow which indicated battery warning. Red means change batteries and is pretty much dead. i used it for about half the day and my cheetah flashed red and wouldn't feed balls. apparently the pack wasn't fully charged. It's ok because some of my friends had spares i used the rest of the day.

It wasn't a big disappointment because i was sort of expecting that. After i got home i recharged the pack for 4 hours no more no less. It was warm to the touch but not hot. i went paint balling 3 times that month and shot a case of paint each time i went. All on one charge it fed. I;m not sure if the pack adds to loader speed as to feed bps on a gun but i wouldn't doubt it. i couldn't really test that since i had a cheetah that already claimed to feed at i believe 40bps on gun in the right conditions. i haven't had the chance to test that out either since i can't pull that fast, get my gun to bounce that fast consistently nor do i have any fancy boards in my ego other than the stock version 2.0 from eclipse.

So far i have shot up to 3 cases in a month and the cheetah is still yellow, but i am not tempted to see how many balls i can squeeze out of one charge in a month yet. I'm sure it will last for about 6 cases a month but i have no reason to try and prove this since i never have to buy loader batteries again. Or a gun battery(9volt) as well, both products are great but this review is about the bone pack and not the gun battery.
Conclusion: Worth the money if you are going to paintball more than a few times a year, and shoot a decent amount of paint each time. If you already have a halo you probably already have a fast shooting/high-end gun. You spend all that money on paint, your hopper, field entries, and gun/tank setup already, why not buy something that will save you money in the long run and get a bone pack and gun battery?

instructions/claims says it will last for 1000 charges, not sure how accurate that is, but by then you it will already have paid for itself at least ten fold and you could just buy the pack again since you already have the charger.

nothings perfect, but for the price and competition the DueyDog Bone pack comes damn close, and Matt(dueydog) is a very helpful, non biased person and keeps in contact so customer satisfaction and support is very good as well.

Thanks for a great product Matt!
