Products Used:
4-1 and 6-1 Harneses
Strengths: I liked the idea of this vest, open and cool.
Weaknesses: Getting pods in and out, Horizontal tank holder.
Review: I started off using the vest and not running a remote, because the tank holder is horizontal, using CO2 tanks would just let liquid fill the hose. So that sort of made my remote useless. I had lots of problems after getting all strapped into the thing to actually reach my pods. Having to have somebody along with you to help get the pods in and out, sort of kills any hope of having any real stealth. Running the pods vertical, is a bad idea in my opinion. After using it for several hours in the real heat, I found the front to be open and cool, but the back did become hot. Because I spent to much money and liked the idea of this vest, I got a regular 6-1 and took the vertical pod holders off the vest, and the horizontal tank holder, and tried to attache the standard 6-1 to the vest. I still did not get the comfort, feel, or use I was going for. I ended up just going with a cheap regular 6-1 and added military suspenders to it ( they are called LB for load bearing). That seems to work the best. Its cool, and I can use a remote, and I can easily get my pods in and out. It doesn't look as cool, but I will take function over looks any day.
Conclusion: The vest is well made. Maybe just too rigid. I think its a good idea, but needs to have horizontal pods and vertical tank like most other harnesses. I will not spend that much money on any vest ever again. I think I learned my lesson, and found what works for me at a third of the price. If you are using HPA and your flexable enough to get to the pods, it may work well for you.

Dispute:
You knew that the tank was the other way when you bought it. Don't give it a bad review because you cant read. I'm sure their was a picture when you bought it. You knew all of the design issues when you purchased it. It didn't work for you because you didn't know what you needed before you bought it. Not the products fault. Do more research next time.

I dont think I gave it a bad review because I cant read, why get personal? I stand by what I said, its my review, my opinion. I did not have the chance to test it before buying it. I knew I would not be able to run a remote, it dosnt mean I have to like it. I didnt know that it would be so difficult to get pods out of and it does look like it will be cool and comfortable, and in my opinion its not. Sorry. I stand by every word that I cant read.

Good Review. I paid $119 + S&H for this thing, and I am none too impressed. I can NOT reach the tank to turn the remote off without taking this vest off. Wish to hell I had a vertical tank puch

if you want horizontal pods and a vertical tank get the specops alias vest - it has molle attachments everywhere.
but seriously this review is crap....

1) There is no reason to turn off your air supply in the middle of a game.
2) Spec Ops has good descriptions and many pictures of products.
3) I can reach every pod on the vest at any time.
4) It does get hot in the back, but any vest will do that. I use under armor heat gear shirts and its not bad at all. It's actually cooling if you slip some ice into your hydration pack.
5) This vest will take some getting used to. After using mine for two years I don't even notice I'm wearing it. The load bearing strap puts all the weight comfortably on your hips.
