Review:
I got this pack before I really started playing hard- sliding, diving, etc. Once I got comfortable with the pack, I had no problem moving as if it wasn't even there.
This pack fits as well as you want it to. The heavy-duty Velcro allows the wearer to put the pack on very tight, and the included back pad ensures a snug fit (my biggest annoyance is lose, bouncing gear when I am running).
I think reaching for horizontal pods takes a little getting used to, but I find it much easier than pulling vertical ones. You have the option of reaching across your body to pull a pod (what I find to be easiest) or pulling it with the close hand. Either is not difficult.
There is of course, the inherent down-fall that gravity can get your paint if one of the pods pop open, but this is easily fixed by getting pods with tight-fitting lids. I bought some super-cheap clear ones, and they work like a charm.
Conclusion:
This pack is nearly unbeatable price-to-quality. You'll either love or hate the orientation though.
WARNING: Your pods are more open to being hit than with vertical packs, and a hit on the pods lid WILL break the paint inside or open the pod. There isn't much you can do, but it is something to keep in mind.
