Review:
Previous to purchasing this board, i read a review by Andy (owner of www.zdspb.com). In his review he mentioned the many setpoints, the many modes, and the many other features. His review made it seem like this board was going to be difficult to understand. In fact, it is just the opposite. The manual has detailed descriptions of what settings do what, walk-through tutorials to help learn how to adjust settings in each of the main menus.
The board itself is constructed nicely and seems to be sturdy enough to hold up to the abuse of tournament paintball. It is not like a predator board, which in my experience is a little sliver of board with some resistors and a chip on it. They put all of the components on the front of the board which, according to Andy from www.zdspb.com, was most likely done as a cost saving measure.
Setting up the board is quite easy. It comes with factory settings, so it can be used as a plug and play application. For those who are looking for a more fine-tuned gun, there are many different settings you can adjust to make the gun shoot just the way you want it. To help with programming the board has 4 individual, colored LED lights. Each light is a different color. The board also makes use of the LED on the upper (solenoid) board. In addition, there is a speaker on the board that chirps to signify different actions (backing up to a different menu, a value for a setting, etc...). In addition to the multiple firing modes, there are also 5 different adjustable user profiles. You can set up different modes and settings for each profile, and set the board to start on which profile you want.
One of the best features of this board is the price. This board gives you so many features for a price that wont make you think twice about buyint it. At $99.95, this board has just as many features as a $149.95 board, and more.
Conclusion:
For the price, ease of use, and amount of features, you cannot go wrong with this board!
