Review: First i didnt know what gun to buy and my friend talked to me about the new spyder Xtra so i got to the paintball shop and when i saw it i felt in love lol. the design is much better than the 2006 one and the color too. I tried it and it shooted well so i bought it. I didnt see any weakness or maybe one : not as tough as a tippman 98 but comon with a 98 you can play baseball or even hockey.
very good buy it if you want!! :P
Conclusion: I dont know if it would be good for speedball but for the rec players i recommend it strongly if you dont have too much money and want better than tippman 98

i kinda currious about the differance between the 2006 and 2007 style xtras besides the new body and the new derlin bolt. for instance is the stock barrel any good or is it trash? etc....

the 07 barrel is only 9.5 inches. the 06 is 12. i dont know what spyder is doing but just get a MR1 and kill the Tippys all day

Yeah but i have looked up some info on barrels and it says it only need 8 inches to gain speed and about 2 inches for gideance (wich could contain ports to lessen noise). Also it looks like the barrel is done better than there 06 one the 06 had some big problems. Also when i thats no the only info i want. I want to know weight, how much kick there is, how fast is tigger ( i got a good guess just because it looks like the one on the mr1 witch i do own and is heavier than my 06 xtra with its upgrades), how gas effient, is there FPS problems like many other spyders ( can't get below 300 without spring kit or cutting the spring down).

I have looked in to gettin a spyder or a tippmann. I like the spyder mr1 and xtra 2007. Which one is better for a rec woodsball player?? And I heard that the mr1 chops balls a lot
