Review: The fieldowner, who's field we play at bought these recently because of suppliers boasting that it is made for european conditions, has a thick fill doesn't break in the barrel. Our playing field has some interesting conditions so through the course of the day humidity can change drastically. That being said, these balls were put through a fairly all round test. The temp was from 12 to 15 celsius. They performed well in the sense that flatline owners,A5'ers & 98's were happy with them exiting their barrels well, but couldn't notice sufficient range or consistency. Before I bore you with a run through of all the different barrels tried, I'll focus on what is important for field paint:
1. The shape of the balls varied from round to oblong to square!
2. The fill was thick but hard to see.
3. The balls were very oily.
4. As the shell is transparent one could see balls with fill missing.
5.Definately different bore sizes from the same bag!
Finally, I'm writing this upon observation of several different cases... Not just one!
Conclusion: I do not recommend this ball until the makers resolve simple faults with it. It gets a 2 for not breaking way too often in the barrel
