My first gun was a tippmann 68 Special if that tells you how long i have been playing. I have use tons of barrels thought the years including, Smart Parts original All american, Smart Parts AA Stainless and Brass barrels (all discontinued) , Lapco Big Shots, dye boomstick for older barrels to, JJ Ceramic, Redz Pepper Stick, Matchstick Barrel kit, and a DYE ultra lit barrel.
Marker Setup: Currently have 3 guns, there all top notch so there is really no after market stuff out there for it.
Custom Karnivior with E2, boomstick barrel
Angel 1 with Angel Small Bore Barrel Kit
96 Ego w/ Maniac Orange w/Tribal Stix barrel
I usually stick with Marb or Evil. Its a 689 bore so most paint will work.
Strengths: Light, Quiet, Accurate, Cheap
Weaknesses: None
Review: I have had a lot of barrels throughout the years and luckly my job allows me to buy any PB stuff I want, so I picked this barrel up locally. For $40 you can't go wrong. Its quiet , light and accurate. I like it better than the JJ because its 2 piece and their is no chance the Teflon will wear out inside the barrel (problem with the JJs). They advertise the Tribal Stix as being lighter then the DYE UL., so the store weighed them on their CO2 scale and the Tribal Stix was lighter. I have an original Dye Boomstick from about 7 years back. I wouldn't trade the boomstock for the world (its now discontinued). But I think the Dye UL barrel is severely over rated, especially now that the Tribal stix is lighter.
Shot for shot the tribal stix was accurate and consistent. I keep it on my Ego because it really looks good against the orange but, its a really a performer. I like it better than the Ego Stock Barrel.
I think its the lightest barrel on the market. I wish i had a $140 titanium barrel to weigh it against. Thats the only type of barrel i haven't had. But with the cost of Titanium so high I would rather get the tribal stix and buy 2 cases of paint with the $100 I just saved.
Conclusion: For $40 its an excellent upgrade for any gun.
10 out of 10

I've read some stuff about how thin it is. Does that seem to be a problem at all?
