i've played against several "ions", "shockers", various other "high end markers" and more recently my neighbors "invert mini", which was a pitiful attempt to beat my spyder VS2, and i can honestly say that the vs2 easily matches, if not outperforms the ion, mini, and almost everyother so called "high end" gun i've played against up to this point, the absolute only thing that is worse about this gun is that it is fractionally heavier than most of the other highend guns
secondly, i hear alot of "my gun wont work" so im guessing there could be some screwed up guns on the market, so be careful if your buying this gun i guess, but if you find a good one you wont be dissapointed
Conclusion:
It is an awesome gun, it's worth every penny and then some, and it is definetly worth buying if you get the chance.
Dispute: ya, no. This thing is a Spyder a s-p-y-d-e-r. It is not high-end and will not compete with one. barely even with the ion which will still beat it. Theres no way you beat your neighbors mini in whatever test you did unless he got a bad egg. also 25 bps is bs. this sounds like company witten review....

Well I'm sorry Cookie Monster but there's professionnals players who use VS2's as main guns. All is in the skills, not the gun.
Also do not talk on anything you did not try. The VS2/VS3 are brand new spyders, with a whole new internals design. They just can't be compare to old spyders.

Cookie monster, you have got a clear bias. You think it sucks just because it is a spyder. THat is a stupid dispute. YOu have never even used the gun probably and by the way, It is better than the ion and pretty much everyone thinks that now.
Believe what you want cookie, i knew that people would "hate" on this gun just because it's a spyder, and people always do when i play, and thats when they find themselves on the recieving end wishing they had picked me to be on their team. Dont underestimate a gun just because of it's brand name. and just for the record, i didnt want to hate on the ion in my review, so i'll say it now, my VS2 has OWNED 3 ions at this point in time, not saying the ion is a bad gun, im just saying the VS2 is as good

ya you must be a idiot. i have a vs2 and a halo. I can get my to at least 20 bps. and im not pro or anything so ya anyone can get it going
First of all I want to say I have a Spyder Imagine good gun and a ION, I like spyder I am not a "Hater" but I will say if it did come down to the gun not the skill the ions, minis, DMs, PMs, shockers, would win. o yeah soldierx what state you live in? (seriously i'd like to play you) cause I have pwnd three guys with DM6s one guy with a bob long two guys with shockers and a guy with an ego my point is it comes down to skill.
P.s. I am Not trying to get into the big ION vs. VS1 debate.
Yeah, um, jordanc7, I seriously dont think your hitting 20 bps. Cause the vs2 dosnt have ramping or anything like that. I think the record for semi is something like 25. And that was a pro. Now, its nothing personal, but I'd have to see it to believe it.
btw, I'd have to agree that stock the vs2 is just as good as an ion, but the ion has way more potential. A fully up'd vs2 could never hope to compete with a fully up'd ion. I'm talking performance here, not some guy with a vs2 trying to shoot some guy with an ion. That depends on the player. I'm talking about how the gun shoots. So, yeah..........
