Introduction - I purchased this product along with another upgrade at the New Designz booth at Hunington Beach NPPL. My PMR is black and I am putting red parts on it, meaning the one I bought was red. This cap did leak out of box first time I used it but then it ended up working the next time I aired it up and has been good since then.
Looks - In my opinion it looks pretty good but plain, could have a better design but im not to worried about it. Out of box their were no flaws on the anno or anything of that kind. This is great for adding style to your PMR.
Material - The real reason for this upgrade, is the aluminum structure. The previous stock back cap was a plastic and was easily stripped even though that had not happened to me, just wanted to make sure it didnt.
Size - The one down side of this product is that the allen screw size differs from the stock. Along with that, New Designs didnt add in a proper sized allen key. Not that big of a deal if you have the proper size but a minor weakness to this product.
Conclusion:
All in all this is a great upgrade and I recommend it highly.
