t68 pistol now my primary weapon. My other markers are Xmag, Dm6, A1, old boblong, and others.
Strengths:
It is a self centering guide.
Weaknesses:
There is none that I found.
Review:
You might ask why do you need to buy this bolt.
This bolt is made to lower fps of the shocker.
There is a big difference between this bolt and the other bolts.
This bolt is lighter, and gives lower pressure, and has a self centering.
I saw both reviews and it does not do justice for it. I am wondering, if they try to really observe to the detail how the bolt works.
As you take a closer look at hybrid bolt or stock compare to this bolt, you can see the part of towards the top has less diameter. These will lower the pressure of the gun. Means easier on paint, or you can lower the dwell of the gun via the board.
The most important is the self centering. I have compared it and other bolts with this bolt. The self centering works, because you will have a better consistency. The bolt will not lean towards the side, but "centering itself" does equality = Consistency.
Before, I have a consistency of -5 +5, now if you put this bolt it will dramatically go to -2 +2. Although you need to Break the bolt in. Make sure you have a high quality grease, not too thick.
At one time it was shooting 257, 257, 257 I thought the Chrono was not working, until it registered 258.
Now how does the bolt lowers the fps. The Bolts is adjustable through the back part with an allen wrench. When you Adjust this, you are adjusting the Dwell through a hardware, not electronically. When you try taking this bolt, you need to use the smaller hole with allen wrench. There is two sizes of allen wrench on the back. There is one for the more outer part, and the inner part.
Take the bolt out through via access of inner part size of allen wrench. And same thing to thing to adjustment. After adjustment set the outer part with a bigger allen wrench.
The hybrid bolt does not do anything jack to the gun. It is just for easily taking out the bolt
Stock performs as the hybrid bolt.
You can buy a hybrid bolt, or just use an allen wrench to take out the bolt and put it in your pocket if you want to take off the bolt.
Right now, I am using a V3 Stinger, with Nox bolt with this guide.
my regulator pressure is 155. 10 psi and it is like my dm6.
This is actually more accurate than my dm or my ego now. In which I have sold them already.
I just can't wait if they will ever come out with EIGEN bolt... for this baby will run like a droid.
Now this will fit the NXT SHOCKER or SFT shocker.
Conclusion:
I give it a ten. Ndz, makes a fine product. I even like their on/off bleeder is way better than a cp bleeder by far. I trust them, they must have good engineers.
msonic, I did review the bolt guide. I gave one sentence for NDX bolt "Right now, I am using a V3 Stinger, with Nox bolt with this guide"
I prolly confused you saying it a bolt, which I am referring to a bolt guide.
